I’m not sure if anyone besides Anita, because she knows it means a lot to me for her to notice, has noticed that I’ve made some changes to the site. First off you can access the site through www.phillipmccart.com. Yeah, I haven’t done anything in my life to make me feel more self-consumed than buying that domain name. Also, I’ve added some new pictures and a link to the podcast to some of my talks, sermons or speeches (students never know what to call my talks).
In other news my Mom started blogging. She’s only got one entry but I’m sure she’ll be getting into gear on a regular basis. She’s seen and been through a lot and has some great stuff to share. I should know. It’s made me who I am today. Hope that doesn’t make you avoid her site.
Anita shared a great story on her latest entry. If you’re a parent, you’ve got to read it. Every time I think I’m going to go off the deep end, Savannah Grace does something like that and reminds me that “this too shall pass.”
Finally, we got the Explorer back last week and a big thanks to Ford for honoring the recall. It didn’t cost a thing to replace the back hatch. However, I’ve just gotten into the office this morning because I had to drop off the Saturn at the shop. It’s always something. Please pray that the car gets miraculously fixed and costs nothing. We’re getting close to Africa and we haven’t had much extra income lately. God will take care of us though. No doubt in that!
