I've had the unimaginable honor of being your dad for the last two years. You've been more than I could have ever hoped for. Over the next several decades we're going to laugh, argue, yell, prank, compete, pray, annoy, complain, misunderstand, worship, study, cry, travel and explore A LOT.
I can promise you two things right now. One, I am going to let you down. Two, I will always, always, always love you. I've told you so at least 2,190 times. I have a not so secret plan to tell you that I love you at lease once a day for as long as I'm alive.
I'm going to be a collosal embarrassment to you for at least the next twenty years, but I hope that after that, you'll be proud to call me "Dad."
I have been, am and will continue to pray that God would open your heart and mind to the truth of the Gospel. I'll be most proud when I get to call you my brother in Christ.
I love you son. Happy Birthday.
